AhlulBayt News Agency: The United States Embassy in the occupied territories will remain closed in the aftermath of Iran’s missile strike that reportedly landed near a facility affiliated with the embassy in Tel Aviv, according to the U.S. envoy in Israel.
On Monday, Israeli media claimed that one of the missiles launched by Iran had struck in close proximity to an office building connected to the U.S. diplomatic mission.
According to Mehr, this incident comes amid a wave of Iranian missile attacks launched overnight across several areas of the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv and Haifa. According to earlier reports, the strikes resulted in more than 120 casualties, both dead and wounded.
The decision to keep the U.S. Embassy closed reflects heightened security concerns amid escalating tensions following Israel’s previous attacks on Iranian territory.
